The Role:
The Email Marketing Specialist will drive the development and deployment of key email marketing campaigns for CPI’s existing customers and prospects. This role will execute the email marketing strategy and be responsible for building emails, maintaining segment lists, testing, and launching emails in our marketing automation system, Microsoft Dynamics 365. This position will work closely with marketing leaders and brand managers to plan and schedule email programs across different end markets, products, and target audiences.
What You Get To Do Everyday:
- Execute all phases of an email campaign including building emails, creating target segments, A/B testing, and launching emails in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Perform testing for all email campaigns, ensuring email logic, design, and copy are correct and render across different clients/devices.
- Oversee the email marketing calendar including monthly customer and prospect newsletters, end-market campaigns, and other ad-hoc emails.
- Integrate design, content, and brand strategy into the email marketing strategy.
- Build supporting lead-generation content including landing pages and forms.
- Report on monthly metrics and KPI’s (open rate, click-through rate, conversion) and advise on areas of optimization.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions within the marketing team to conceptualize new campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing automation team to optimize and scale the marketing automation platform.
- Assist with the implementation of automated nurture and drip campaigns.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- Two years or more of work experience in email marketing analytics or digital marketing
- Experience working with data segmentation, reporting within a client relationship management (CRM) system, and a marketing automation system
- Experience building and editing email templates
- Knowledge of HTML & CSS
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices
- Ability to analyze data to execute new campaigns or modifications of existing programs and process based on trends and data
- Ability to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, adapt, and work well under pressure
- Ability to communicate complex information accurately to a broad audience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize efficiently
