The Role: 
The E-commerce Platform Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Crisis Prevention Institute’s global ecommerce platform, Optimizely Commerce Connect. In this role, you will drive e-commerce enhancement projects through the conception, execution, and maintenance stages, collaborating with Marketing, Finance, Software Engineering, Business Applications, Infrastructure, Customer Care, and other partnership teams to deliver a holistic and frictionless experience for CPI’s customers. Additionally, this position will establish and maintain best practices for e-commerce functionality and workflows, providing leadership, training, and technical support.  
  
What You Get To Do Everyday:
  • Oversee the day-to-day global operations of CPI’s Optimizely Commerce Connect, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience.
  • Develop and manage documentation for global e-commerce roadmap (enhancements, maintenance, and content), governance, business rules, and standards.
  • Build and share global pipeline status reports for each release.
  • Establish permission and access criteria and govern access.
  • Lead and project manage e-commerce enhancements and roadmap initiatives by translating business objectives and design specifications into actionable user stories and backlog items while communicating considerations, progress, budget, and timelines to key stakeholders.
  • Manage operations and timelines for the Development team and other business teams associated with the platform.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to define acceptance criteria and coordinate testing efforts to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to implement and manage integrations
  • Assist with developing and executing e-commerce strategies to drive traffic, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and educate them on platform capabilities.
  • Assist in integrating Optimizely Commerce Connect roadmap and enhancements to fully utilize the tool for best customer experience.
  • Work with the Product, Finance, and Logistics teams to manage the event and product listings, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date event and product information are displayed on the platform.
  • Monitor best practices around user interface/user experience (UI/UX) for e-commerce.
  • Work with the Design team and others to implement a UI/UX that enhances customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure a seamless, efficient customer experience on the platform.
  • Prioritize customer feedback by identifying pain points and collaborating with customer-facing teams (Customer care, Sales, Training) for continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior and buying behaviors.
  • Identify trends and recommend actionable strategies based on data analysis.
  • Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with CPI policies and procedures.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.

 You Need to Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, or business administration
  • Five years of more of experience working with e-commerce platforms
  • Three years of more of experience working with sprint planning and boards (Azure, JIRA, etc.)
  • Three years of more of experience working with Agile methods and practices
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and how online businesses operate, including sales channels, inventory management, and customer service
  • Knowledge of e-commerce laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, such as data protection, consumer rights, and online payment security
  • Knowledge of essential web development and design
  • Knowledge of data analytics to track and interpret site traffic and sales metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities as business needs dictate
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Skilled at translating business vision into defined and prioritized user stories for the team’s backlog
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities and authority effectively and to encourage individuals to decide how they will accomplish their goals and resolve issues
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, negotiation, writing, speaking, and listening skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
